The wildlife, the culture, the landscapes – is Africa the best place on earth?
African Safari Destinations
There’s nothing quite like the magic of an African safari. The wildlife, culture and landscapes in Africa make it undeniably one of the best places on earth. From the roar of a lion to the silence of the Mafinga Hills to the beauty of the Blyde River Canyon.
On Safari with the Wild Insights team, you’ll learn how to read signs of wildlife in the blood-red earth, you’ll feel the ground shake to the rumble of elephants, you’ll breathe the same air as the mighty cats, and understand the wild like never before.

South Africa
South Africa is our African home and after over 75 combined years in the South African bush our experienced guides know it like the back of their hand. Pridelands, Umfula, Greater Kruger and Kruger Park are just a few of the reserves we visit frequently. From a safari point of view, South Africa has so much to offer, from the Big 5 to birds and beautiful flora and fauna – we can focus on whatever you want. At your pace.

Botswana
Considered a wholesome and beautiful safari destination, Botswana offers a true experience of the wild and possesses a variety of parks. It’s a great country to visit if you want to view hippos, crocodiles, big cats and elephants. It’s also a birdwatcher’s paradise thanks to permanent rivers and rambling floodplains. Trips can be arranged to incorporate a visit to neighbouring countries including Namibia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Zambia.

East Africa
We are able to visit East African countries Kenya and Tanzania on request. Flanked by the Indian Ocean to the east of their borders, a trip to Kenya or Tanzania seamlessly combines a few days on safari with a few days by the coast. Best when combined, Kenya and Tanzania offer incredible safari experiences. You’ve got the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and the Masai Mara in Kenya and if you travel at the right time of year, you’ll be able to see the Big 5 and the Great Migration in both countries.
