Shared Lodge Safaris
An immersive
experience
A shared-lodge safari means after a day on safari with your private guides, you’ll come back to an exquisite room in a lodge with other guests. You’ll wake to morning birdsong birds and fall asleep to the sounds of nature in material and spiritual luxury.
We deal with every detail of your trip, so all you have to do is contact us, tell us what sort of safari experience you’d like, the wildlife you dream of seeing and which countries you’d like to visit – then sit back and relax as we organise the rest.
All our safaris can include a mix of safari styles, you can embrace your adventurous side and stay in private bush camps before floating towards material luxury in a shared lodge and finally ultimate exclusivity with our private lodge safaris. Tailored to your needs, you dictate the pace of the safari, we can visit some incredible bird-watching destinations, experience The Great Migration or focus on walking safaris, whatever you want to do and wherever you want to go, we’ve got you covered.

Staying in a material and spiritually luxurious lodge during your safari holiday will give you a place to call home. Our hand-selected, shared experience lodges have been chosen with relaxation in mind. So whether you’re kicking back after a day on safari or sightseeing, you can enjoy the facilities on offer.
Legendary private guide Graham Cooke, leads our luxury safaris. You can appreciate the sights, sounds and smells of the bush while enjoying beautiful surroundings. We have over 75 years of collective experience organising and leading safaris in Africa. We build and deliver bespoke packages for you focussed on your wants and desires.
After a day on safari or bushwalking, you can return to your luxury lodge to relax in the pool or enjoy a drink while reminiscing on the day’s adventure and the animals you encountered in their natural habitat.
Below are three examples of luxury lodges we have hand-selected for guests to stay in when on a safari with us:
Nkorho
The beautiful Nkorho Bush Lodge sits quietly in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Cool off in their rock pool, tuck into dinner around an open fire sleep, in a thatched chalet and enjoy a hearty breakfast overlooking an open plain.

Thornybush
Solar-powered by day and plastic-free, the newly refurbished Thornybush Game Lodge can be found in Greater Kruger Park. This is a beautiful lodge with stylishly decorated suites that have incredible views of the riverbed

Tintswalo
Linked by elevated wooden pathways there are seven luxurious suites at Tintswalo. The lodge is situated on the edge of a seasonal river and every suite has a private deck with a plunge pool and relaxation area.

"Nkorho Bush Lodge"
“Upon arriving you are greeted by friendly and smiling faces, and some of them are dog faces! The cabins are phenomenal, with the beds comfy and rooms spacious. Looking out from them is the wonderful view of a watering hole, on our first day we saw two herds of elephants splashing and drinking the water. A wonderful welcome from the local wildlife. The meals are, to put it mildly, delicious! During our stay, the staff made us feel like part of their family. To do that day in and day out with new guests coming and going speaks to their professionalism and passion for the work they do.”
